Our Story

Samantha and Matt are true high school sweethearts. They met as freshmen in the fall of 2001—Matt on the drumline and Samantha in color guard—two teenagers who had no idea they were about to meet their forever. By sophomore year in 2002, they were officially dating. <3

Over the years, they’ve grown up side by side, building a life rooted in love, loyalty, and friendship. From their first small apartments and back houses to then purchasing their own home, every chapter has been written together. In 2018, their greatest adventure began with the birth of their son, Hunter—who made their little family complete.

They share a love of travel and have made memories everywhere from Mexico to the Caribbean and all across the United States. But no matter where they go, their favorite days, their best days, are simply the ones they spend together.

Matt proposed to Samantha in March of 2025 while on a family trip to Las Vegas. She of course, said yes! Now, after more than two decades of love and partnership, they are beyond excited to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by the people who mean the most to them. We can’t wait to see you all in October!
